Hi, I’m Kira — a huge book lover who believes the best reading happens when you’re wrapped in your comfiest clothes, fully relaxed, and completely lost in a great story.
That feeling is exactly why Book Squad exists. I started this store to share my love of books with people who just get it — the ones who lose track of time in a good chapter, who have a dedicated reading nook (or at least a dedicated reading corner of the couch), and who appreciate cozy, expressive style that reflects who they really are.
How Book Squad Started
Like a lot of great ideas, Book Squad started with a problem I couldn’t stop thinking about. I kept looking for bookish apparel and accessories that felt genuinely me — things that were comfortable enough to wear all day, well-made enough to last, and expressive enough to spark a conversation with a fellow reader. I wanted a tote bag I could take to the library without it falling apart. A sweatshirt soft enough to read in for hours. A mug that made me smile every morning before I opened my book.
I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, so I decided to make it myself. Book Squad was born out of that search — a small store built by a reader, for readers.
What We Make
A lot of what you’ll find at Book Squad is inspired by the worlds we love to read about and the stories that have shaped us. From bookish apparel to cozy accessories, everything is designed for people who wear their passions proudly and want their everyday items to reflect their love of reading.
Our products are made with real comfort in mind. The tees are soft enough for a full reading day. The sweatshirts are the kind you reach for first on a cold morning. The mugs are the ones you’ll use every single day. And the tote bags are sturdy enough to carry a full library haul without breaking a sweat.
Every design starts with a feeling — the cozy satisfaction of a great reading session, the quiet joy of finding a book that completely wrecks you, the solidarity of being a reader in a world that sometimes doesn’t understand why you need to finish one more chapter before bed.
